During this class, we will cook together TOMATES FARCIES! Stuffed Tomatoes are really delicious, versatile, and fun to prepare. The tomatoes are hollowed out and can be stuffed with any savory mixture you decide to use. Once baked, they can be served as a perfect hors d’oeuvre or colorful side dish to rice or potatoes.
2 options will be available: Vegetarian stuffed tomatoes and Beef/Pork stuffed tomatoes.

1 lb of Lean Ground Beef and Ground Pork Sausage ( For the Vegetarian Filling Option, use cooked quinoa) • 6 Beef Tomatoes • 1 Cup of Breadcrumbs • 1 cup of Chopped Onion and Shallot. • 1 Cup of Mixed Chopped Fresh herbs such as Thyme/ Tarragon/Parsley/Oregano • 2 tbsp of Dry Herbs de Provence, Italian herbs or similar • 4 Cloves Garlic • 1 Egg Yolk (to be removed for the vegetarian option) • 4 teaspoons of butter • 4 tbsp Olive Oil • Salt & Pepper • Chopped Chives
