My Smoked Whitefish Salad Recipe!

This is such an easy recipe to make and so delicious that you will try to spread it on almost everything! You can use my homemade smoked whitefish salad as a dip or even a spread or sandwich filling! So fresh when served with cucumber and/or smoked salmon, you can enjoy it on toast, lettuce leaves, or Belgian endives, crackers and even rye thins. It’s salty so remember to drink white wine in moderation!
Step-by-step instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a small food processor:
– 1 lb of Smoked Whitefish (remove skin and bones). Order HERE
– 1 lime or lemon juice
– 1/3 cup of cottage cheese or sour cream
– 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
– 3 large cloves of garlic (adjust the quantity if you don’t like too much garlic)chopped!
– 3 sliced Scallions (spring onions)
– 1/2 teaspoon of Tabasco or hot sauce
– 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
– 3 tablespoons of fresh dill
Mix for 30 seconds, then refrigerate overnight or at least for 3 hours. Cut and sprinkle some fresh chives!
