Tip For Preparing Homemade Dijon Mustard!

Here is my own recipe to prepare my delicious homemade Dijon Mustard! This is so easy to make at home! Originally from France, the Dijon Mustard is now used all over the world to prepare sandwiches, vinaigrette, dressings or just as a dip when you eat delicious meat and charcuterie!
Ingredients:
  • 8 tbsp of Mustard Seeds (black, brown or yellow / or a mix of them)
  • 2 tbsp of Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Fennel Seeds
  • 1/2 cup of White Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of White Wine
  • 1/2 tbsp of Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp of Dried Herbs (Oregano, Thyme or Basil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
Step-by-step instructions:
  1. Mix all ingredients in a jar
  2. Cover with clingfilm
  3. Leave the covered jar at room temperature for 2 days
  4. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer
  5. Use a blender to mix the seeds for 30 seconds
  6. Transfer the mix to a sealed glass container and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using
  7. Refrigerate up to 3 months
