During this class, we will prepare together the famous bistro salad: SALAD LYONNAISE. The Salad Lyonnaise is one of my favorite salads! Simply made of frisée, lardons, homemade crunchy croûtons, soft poached egg, and a delicious dressing!
Originating from my hometown Lyon, this traditional bistro salad will transport you to the French Capital of Gastronomy.

LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 baguette
- 1 tbsp of dried herbs (eg: herbs of Provence)
- 5 strips of thick-cut bacon or 1/2 cup of pancetta/bacon cubes
- 1 Frisée lettuce (also called curled endive or chicory Lettuce)
- 1 Shallot
- white/red or apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp of Dijon Mustard
- 1 egg per person/serving
- Salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil
- reserve the bacon fat
