During this class, we will cook together FRENCH ONION SOUP! The traditional Onion Soup (Soupe à l'Oignon) is delicious and ideal to serve as a show-stopper appetizer. Considered a French Brasserie classic, the most important step of cooking this soup is to caramelize the onions until golden brown.

LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
- 5 Large Onions Sliced
- 1/2 Cup of Dry White Wine (or red or Port wine)
- 3 Chopped Garlic Cloves
- 1 Small leek and 1 shallot
- 3 cups of Beef Stock with 1 tbsp of tomato paste
- Sliced Baguette
- Salt & Pepper
- 1/2 Cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 Cup of grated Gruyere or/ and Swiss cheese (for 2 servings)
- 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil and 1 tbsp of sugar
- 4 Thyme sprigs and 3 Bay leaves, herbs de Provence
- 1/2 Cup of Butter
