LIST OF INGREDIENTS:

Pastry:

  • 300 grams all-purpose flour (2  cups) 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs
  • 1 cup of cold unsalted butter (approx. 10 oz)
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Filling:

6 Sweet or Yellow Onions • 3 cups of Gruyere Cheese • Dried herbs (oregano, thyme or herbes de Provence) • 2 tbsp of olive oil • 2 tbsp of olive oil • 3 tbsp of sour cream• 2 egg yolks •2 tbsp of parmesan • 2 tbsp of light brown sugar • 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard • Freshly Grated Nutmeg
