LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
Pastry:
• 300 grams all-purpose flour (2 cups) and 50 grams for extra use • 150 grams of unsalted butter (1 cup) and 50 grams of vegetarian butter (margarine) at room temperature • 5 tablespoons of cold water • 3 tablespoons of caster sugar
Filling: • 3 to 4 apples (golden apples or Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady apples) • 120 grams of softened unsalted butter (1 stick) • 120 grams of granulated sugar (1/2 cup) • 150 grams of almond flour (1 and 1/2 cup) • 2 eggs • 1 vanilla extract or essence • 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour • 2 tablespoons of apricot jam
LIST OF COOKWARE AND ACCESSORIES:
• 1 Large Bowl • 1 Whisk • 1 Tart Pan (Approx 9" Diameter) • Baking Beans (Pie Weights) or alternatively coffee beans or dried peas such as black-eye peas (only used as weight to blind bake the crust) • 1 Medium Saucepan
