LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
Pastry:
• 300 grams all-purpose flour (2 cups) and 50 grams for extra use • 150 grams of unsalted butter (1 cup) at room temperature • 5 tablespoons of cold water • 3 tablespoons of caster sugar
French Custard: • 1 liter of whole milk (4 cups) • 150 grams of confectioners sugar (1.30 cup) • 90 grams of Cornstarch (0.75 cup) • 4 eggs • 1 Vanilla Pod
LIST OF COOKWARE AND ACCESSORIES:
• 1 Large Bowl • 1 Whisk • 1 Tart Pan (Approx 9" Diameter) • Baking Beans (Pie Weights) or alternatively coffee beans or dried peas such as black-eye peas (only used as weight to blind bake the crust) • 1 Medium Saucepan
