CHEZ FRANCOIS COOKING: Endives au Jambon (Belgian Endives, Ham, Béchamel)

Welcome to Chez François kitchen, full of delicious French recipes!

Learn how to cook French cuisine with Chez François! Each online cooking class will approximately last 60 minutes and LIMITED to 10 guests so please RESERVE your seat! The fee to attend this class is USD 35 per person that you can pay via Paypal, Zelle, or Venmo, payment should be made at least 3 days prior to the class.

During this class, we will cook together the delicious "Endives au Jambon". Perfectly prepared Belgian endives, wrapped in ham (jambon de Paris) and baked in béchamel, gratiné with gruyere cheese! All your guests or family will ask for more!

LIST OF INGREDIENTS:

Endives: 1 to 2 Belgian Endives per person (minimum recommended: 4 to 6 endives for this dish) • 1  slice of jambon de Paris per endive (you can choose any other cooked ham slices to wrap each endive) • 1 cup of grated cheese (gruyere or cheddar) • Dijon Mustard • 2 tbsp of Butter • Salt & Pepper

Béchamel: 4 oz of Butter • 3 Cloves of Garlic •  1 Cup of Chopped Onions/Shallots • 1 tbsp of Fresh Thyme • 1 pinch of Freshly Grated Nutmeg • 1 Cup of Hot Milk, 1 Cup of Vegetable Stock and 3 tbsp of Heavy Cream • 4 tbsp of all Plain Flour • 2 tbsp of White Wine • Salt & Pepper
