During this class, we will cook together MADELEINES! Madeleines, originally from North-Eastern France, are very small sponge cakes with a distinctive shell-like shape acquired from being baked in pans with shell-shaped. Please check below the madeleine baking pan that you require.

• 1 Cup of all-purpose flour • 1/2 cup of white granulated sugar • 5 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter • 1/2 lemon pressed juice • 1/2 teaspoon of salt • zest of 1 lemon • 5 tablespoons of milk • 1 sachet of baking powder (2 Teaspoons) • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar (1 teaspoon of vanilla essence) • 3 eggs at room temperature • 1 teaspoon of honey
• 1 Large Bowl • 1 Small Bowl • 1 Whisk • 1 Wood Spoon • 1 or 2 Madeleine Pans (12 cavity pan)
